FIT Club MKE HAS officially launched

In May of 2021, FIT Club MKE was officially established as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit
organization. This is the culmination of months of work by the newly created board of
directors that was led by Marcellus Dawson, Founder and Executive Director. FIT Club
MKE was established to empower Milwaukee's youth to become leaders of tomorrow
through fitness, education, financial literacy, and culturally responsive programming.
Marcellus commented on reaching this milestone. "We are excited to launch FIT Club
MKE as a new organization. This has been in the works for many years and is the result
of a great deal of effort from volunteers in the community. Now, we need to get back to
work so we can start helping Milwaukee's kids.
